Week Six Sun Belt Football Players of the Week Announced
I predicted that which ever QB started for A-State would be POY in the SBC, so have to point out that after his first SBC game QB Justice Hansen is the Offensive Player of the Week. He is a player most of you are going to grow to hate over the next few years.

16-27 for 182 yards, 2 TDs and 2 picks? 9 rushes for 61 yards is pretty solid, but those numbers are nothing to be scared of. This is a result of half the conference on bye week.

Against the worst defense in the country. Hanson wasn't great though so I guess it's slim pickens this week.

You have solidified yourself as a troll. Lose four in a row, no where to be seen, win once and you're here to say "I told you so". In spite of the win, State played a reeling Georgia Southern team whose offense is actually getting progressively worse instead of better under a new coaching staff.

Looks like Renhkow had a great week, but I was hoping Koo might get STPOTW with 4 FG including a 52 yarder. Oh well, now it's official, NOTHING the slightest bit good happened in Jonesboro.

We're pretty sure Hanson only got it because of the game winning drive, when he was very good. Responsible for 2 plays that made ESPN's top 10 that night.

Like those people who lift a flaming car by themselves on adrenaline alone to rescue a helpless kid pinned underneath. Hansen earned his award.

You've made much better analogies/comparisons in the past. This is a bit of a stretch.

Imagine what The Den would look like if he had failed on the 4th and 16 and sent us to 0-5. Seems an acceptable analogy to me.

Shame we turned the ball over 5 times. If not it would have been a blowout without the late game heroics and y'all would not have been able to gripe. Not sure he would have been rewarded without that.

I don't think anyone is griping about him getting the award, he may have earned it for all I know. Nothing about it implied the rest of the Sun Belt should be scared against him for the next couple years though.

Not disagreeing with that last statement but you probably need to go back in this thread and read. Saying he was not that impressive, beat a lousy GS team. It seems anything we do well will be downplayed. Been like that since we refuse to crown App and GS kings. That ain't happening.

A GS fan, two App fans, a Georgia State fan, and a Troy fan responded to an Ark State troll (I know, I know) who says that a guy who had an okay game is someone that we will all grow to hate over the next few years and should be afraid of. I just don't see what that has to do with you guys "refusing to crown GS and App kings". People are just tired of Seminole Indian, it has nothing to do with you guys.

Oh no, you can't do that. If this board lumps all Southern fans the same then Ark St gets the same treatment b/c of Seminole.
