We really were. He completely turned the program around.

Now we got CMN. He's younger and looks poised to keep Memphis football relevant for years to come.

Keeping Bud Foster was key for him. Glad he's doing well.

So right. His turnaround of our toilet bowl program was almost miraculous. I'm glad we have Norvell now but I have to tip my hat to Fuente for making this an attractive place to coach when he left.

But he's a TRAITOR because he left the UNIVERSITY.

Tommy West had some good years, but JF had a culture change. A real change of direction.

People that are bitter at Fuente for supposedly quitting halfway through last year are crazy. I wish him nothing but the best. I love Coach Norvell but Memphis fans should definitely be big Fuente supporters.

I do praise Fuente for turning this program around. Norvell will make this program better.

That would suck because good football coaches are hard to find. Hope Memphis gets into a power conference or becomes independent like ND

Well, I was not happy with all the talk of his potential leaving in the middle of the season, it had an impact on the team, IMO. Most of the talk was not JF fault, but it would have been nice for him to tell VT to keep their mouth shut if they wanted him. Houston will probably go thru the same thing soon.

But I'm very grateful for Justin Fuente.
