We can dig ourself out of that hole against a team like Louisiana Tech, but we have a lot to clean up to get ready for North Texas.

And Hog Dawg... No shame in what your team did tonight. I think y'all would have a good shot to beat ULM this year.

Cute. Congrats to MTSU. It was truly a great game. But I guarantee you that if I was coaching LA Tech, the Dogs would have walked out of Floyd Stadium with a win. Those last 4 play calls by Skip Holtz on MTSU's 5 yd line belong in the Hall of Shame. I think three of them were "fade" routes. Ugh!! We haven't completed a "fade" route pass since 2010.

Skip just can't win the close ones. That's a fact. If you look at his record, he either blows people out (like we did MTSU last year), or he loses 'em close.

I've said it too many times....the fade route may be the biggest waste of a chance on the planet....

depending on the defensive lineup, it's so easy to run/slant/slip the TE in that situation....

the fade is a dogshite play that never is in any schema that I would design....PERIOD

disclaimer: unless the corner broke his leg on the last play and the refs were blindfolded.....

I think it's hilarious that in his adled mind he can just drop himself into that drive, as if somehow, were he coaching, not only would he have been capable of the job, that the game would have played out exactly the same.

No, you're totally right HD, you could have won that game...

This from a girl that knows nothing about me. 05-stirthepot

I can sure NOT call the fade route 3 times in the last 4 plays. I like my chances.

Midwest? Not sure where you're getting that from...

I can assure you that if you're basing your image of me based off a internet handle I picked in my early twenties, you'd be a little surprised if we ever met.

Touche! I can hear Skip Holtz now: "MTSU would never believe we would be stupid enough to run this fade route 3 times in 4 plays." 03-lmfao

Am I the only one who is confused yet equally amused with Stink's posts? I tilt my head like a confused dog every time I read his posts, and I don't mean it in a bad way. Just funny stuff lol

Ah yes, the classic cities of the midwest, Chicago, Madison, Columbus, Milwaukee, Minneapolis Nashville...Memphis...Chattanooga...

Not only is Tennessee absolutely a southern state, I was born, raised and currently live in Georgia. Let me guess, Georgia is in the Northeast?

Clown.
