Satan did his work well, but there many many true Christians scattered about in all denominations.

Some are lucky enough to be taught sound biblical doctrine, some are taught no biblical doctrine at all. Some open the bible and learn sound doctrine themselves. But we are saved by faith alone in this age, and many have truly given their heart over to Christ.

Some claim they have and attend church and church functions, but their heart is with the world, not Christ.

I agree with this statement.

I am Catholic and I don't like much of what the Pope says.

This isn't from me but the catholic catechism strongly says that anyone who doesn't hold to every edict of the catholic church through it's laws (catechism) is anathema, meaning cursed, and not a catholic.

So what it says is that you should hold dear and strongly to every edict or you will be subject to ex-communication. You better hide or you'll be in their crosshairs.

Superfly can come over to the Lutheran church. One of my friends was raised Catholic but now goes to Lutheran church. He says that Lutherans are a lot like Catholics except the Lutherans don't have a stick up their ass.

Of course he says he tried the Baptist church first but he like Lutherans better because at least the Lutherans would speak to you when you saw them in the liquor store during the week. 03-lmfao

I would say that those who consider themselves "true Christians", and others to be not true Christians, are the ones who are wrong. You can quote all the bible crap you want, but this particular pope is closer to emulating Jesus than any of you. Maybe that's what you don't like about him.

I considered becoming a Lutheran but I can't stand cream of mushroom soup.

If I ever switched it would be Lutheran for sure. My German side pulls me that way and the Irish side the other.

Let's hope but it won't happen. I wonder how many politicians they have ex communicated in the twentieth century?

I wonder how many don't realize that most abortions are basically child sacrifice in God's eyes?

He had the Israelites totally destroy certain cultures, men woman and children, for their child sacrificing and ultra wicked societies.

How many millions of babies have been unnecessarily aborted in this country?

There is a big difference in speaking out against one man and speaking out against all Catholics.

No one here has done the latter.

Anyone who reads their bible know the cross was Jesus' great triumph, and he DEFEATED Satan at the cross by becoming the passover lamb for the whole world, all those who believe on Him.

If it turns out that there is a God, and that he will judge us all when we die, then I like my chances a lot better than yours. If I'm lucky, I will go to a different place than all the self-declared "true Christians". In the meantime, the only thing I can control is my own behavior while I am on this earth. If living a good life isn't enough, I'll just have to live with that.

The pope is not the vicar of Jesus Christ in the flesh? He is not the Catholics "Holy Father"?

Does he not wear a crown declaring his authority on earth, below and in heaven?

You are not going anywhere good if you reject Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Savior of all who believe in Him.

"I am the Way , the Truth, and the Light, and no one come to the Father but through Me."

We tell you this out of love and compassion.

God is absolutely telling you where you will go if you reject Him and His Son.

MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT.

We warn you out of love and compassion.

In the end, its YOUR CHOICE, and He granted us that choice and free will. You can chose to live as an incorruptible God for all eternity or you can choose eternal destruction.
