For GS it has to be App. We are very similar in many ways. We came into the Belt together and I have noticed an increasing tendancy for fans of both schools (well maybe except for students) to defend each other vs other Belt schools.

In 2nd place for GS I would say Troy

GS. Small town school located in the lower part of their southern states. Football rich history, Good baseball, and below average basketball.

APP/ARKST

For me, I'd say ULM. We've had a few signature wins, all while having pretty low athletic budgets. Hats off to them because theirs was quite a bit lower than ours.

Troy and App

used to be Ark St, but then we won an OOC game.

I'd say UL. Close to the coast, Mardi Gras, about the same size, baseball is big.

ULL and South Alabama
Georgia State and ULM
Coastal Carolina and Texas State
UALR and UTA

I just think Texas State and Coastal are more comparable in football and baseball. I think you could also make a case with South Alabama and Texas State, but of course I'm just trying to pair each school once while minimizing dissimilarities.

I'm struggling to think of any similarities you guys have with Texas State, besides the "State name" State.
