I hadn't even noticed those forms. Sidewalk lighting? Are they big enough for support structures? Maybe they are going to make a concourse?

Looks like the canopies were welded onto the stadium structure. Those new?

They are building columns for what appears to be lighting and fence if I were to guess

I think the iron fencing goes between those pillars. The ones with the conduit coming up will have luminaires on them; there would be no other reason to run that conduit up through them--unless they were going to electrify the fence. 04-nuke

I believe that fence is at the gate for visiting fans s electrification is a distinct possibility.

Wondering about the "ROCKET NATION" canopies that are attached to Larimer. They are extremely faded after just a few years. They are going to have to re-paint them every few years or remove them after FB season or they will look very shabby.

They looked shabby all season long this past season. They should have touched them up last season. Really hoping they at least do it before this season.

Personally I think they should be removed. Perfect location for premium end zone seating.

This +1. I used to love when we had overflow crowds and they would bring in bleachers near that end zone. It was nice to see that area active with fans. A premium end zone seating area would be ideal.

The north west tower is not large enough to store practice equipment like sleds and body pads. Under those overhangs is where that is all stored. I say get a new one with more vibrant colors. And to take them down after every game so they look good for years to come. We take down the MAC flags after every game, and the fence covers around the stadium right after the season. Why we left that there to get sun faded in the offseason and covered with snow in the winter is beyond me. Wasteful.

Checked out the GB updates while visiting Art on the Mall. I don't know anything about construction, but IMO they have a long way to go and a short time to get there.

They should have made good progress since we've had only 2 or 3 good rains since May.

Now the player entrance, that where you're talking about? Be a nice tunnel of people for them to enter through.

Once the underground infrastructure is in such as pipes, sewers, electric the above ground stuff goes pretty quick, especially since we are only talking one level of work above ground with bathrooms, concessions, locker room, etc.

I drove through yesterday. Visually, not a whole lot different than the latest pics. I see they have the restroom addition primed to paint (maybe it already was in the above pics, I'm not sure). Those stone pillars that have the conduit running up through them have electrical boxes visible on the side, so I'm guessing they will have sconce type fixtures attached to light the area. A lot of concrete is poured, but it's not 100% yet. Over near the concrete steps there is a retaining wall at the top of the hill (can't recall for sure whether that was already there or not). The area they the opened up on the field side of the stands is really wide. Can't wait to see it all up close!

I drove by yesterday as well. Since they're not going the stone route on the bathrooms that matches the other nice stone, I really hope they paint them midnight blue with gold lining.

Walked across the Root Bridge today. The sidewalk can't be more than four feet wide, likely less.

They didn't look very wide.
