I will say for the first time ever, even after poking fun at the idea a couple months ago, C Austin Cox out of nowhere said CSU was trending now.

RE: Chip Brown thinks BYU, Houston, Cincinnati and Memphis lead
Lets See Texas Buys 332 Acres for a Houston Satellite campus in Houston and Houston wants to fight it....If Houston was IN they wouldn't need the GOV and everyone in Texas to go to bat for them....Texas and texas Tech will say they are in favor of them to look good and look like good guys....Now Where does TCU and Baylor Stand?....And even So 4 Texas Schools makes only 4...Houston Doesn't Have the Votes right now....BYU has Lots of Issues and some MAJOR sticking points to boot.....Memphis is IN as is Cincy.....Again Looking at You UCF and Colorado State.....Looking like it will Be Memphis, Cincy, UCF and Colorado State....No Limits....The World Is Ours Memphis....

Do we even know how many votes it takes to gain admission? Out of the current 10, WVU, Kansas, K-State, Iowa State, Oklahoma, and Ok State are six that could give the finger to the Univ of Texas and Texas politics.

Wasn't Houston as much of a football brand as BYU when BYU was really a strong football brand?

Houston was a bigger brand during the seventies and eighties. Byu never had much of a brand prior to 85. They were not greatly respected. They played a unique style of football. They aired the ball out when everyone else were running i formation and wishbone.
