She could have chosen Bernie.
its funny, Trump chose Pence, someone who he has a lot of disagreement with especially in his key area of trade, for the sake of party unity, but Clinton refuses to do so.
It will be interesting to see who she picks, but her problem is that she has been cornered by a balance Trump ticket on one side, and vp candidates who have shot themselves in the head. I believe she wanted Castro because he would be somewhat charismatic to offset her blandness. They also need to have a "newbie" to the scene so that she can try to say they are not the insider or establishment.
If she goes with Kaine, you have two bland people who have been establishment for a long time. Thats not going to excite the Bernie supporters.
Not really needed anymore. The past 4 days accomplished most of that...and the first 4 of next week will cement it.
Honest question, do Trump's trade stances not excite Bernie supporters? Trump and Bernie are closer on trade than Bernie and Clinton
Not enough to stomach the rest of his pathetic ideas.

Like a rigged economy and not being such a nation builder? Trump and Sanders have A LOT in common in terms of the economy

Perhaps, but Trump's plans...I mean what plans...Bernie is a little more sophisticated than just a huge tax cut that would explode the deficit and solve nothing.

But, don't you think that progressives who have been told that the economy is rigged against them by a man whom virtually both on all sides consider honest and someone of integrity will have a tough time supporting someone who can be classified as the queen of corrupt and epitome of eliteness

No...because they will most likely get better results with Clinton than with a corporate shill like Trump. Yes I know Clinton is a corporatist as well...but not on Trump's level IMHO.

interesting, i disagree with you completely. To me, Clinton will talk the progressive talk economically, but once she is in office, TPP will become law and more jobs will be shipped overseas.

Can't wait to hear Hillary shout out Her acceptance speech and talk about Trump. Bet She will come off sounding just like finger nails on a Chalkboard in surround Sound ! "Oh the pain, Oh the Agony of it all !" BTW I lifted that from Dr. Smith on the Original "Lost in Space" tv show. No plagiarizing that line.

I know this isn't what you meant Tom, and I know what you meant... but I find it pretty funny anyway.
I believe that you know the differences in these candidates, but lots of people are saying the exact same thing, and they DON"T know the differences

Clinton Kaine finished 3rd at Talladega this year, behind Jimmie Johnson and Martin Truex, Jr.

Last poll I saw, 45% of Bernie's supporters were going for Hillary... 25% for Trump and 20% for Johnson.
