RE: Tubby sighting
The word I get is that Tubby has been lots of places. I was talking to the uncle of a current Tiger player. He said Tubby is constantly in touch with his nephew. The example he cited was Tubby phoned the nephew while he and the uncle were having breakfast. Tubby ended up coming over and having breakfast with them.

I take it from the general tone of his comments that nothing like that ever took place under Pastner.

John Martin tweeted that Tubby has been watching Penny's U17 team. Loads of talent on that squad.

I thought Tubby was on the beach wearing sun glasses and a straw hat while sipping margaritas.

Probably there to look at the scrubs. Everybody says that recruiting talent isn't his M.O.

Tubby wasn't a great recruiter at KY of all places. Knew that when we hired him.

Hey guys,

Verbal Commits has Memphis with only 9 scholarship players on the 2016-17 roster. Is this correct? Or have other players been signed that verbal commits may not be aware of?

Common misconception. He had more top 10 classes there, than classes outside of the top 10.

Wrong question. Which Kentucky coach had the most classes outside of the top 5?

I'm not expecting top 5 classes. I'd be okay with top 20.

I don't know - do recruiting class rankings get vacated, too?
