Its not bad for American to invest in Scotland or to own property there. I've done both (but then again, my grandmother was born there). But for an American major party nominee for President of the United States to go over there and flack time shares in the midst of a country in an economic and political crisis is not appropriate. How is this Presidential?

The problem is that during the "queue" row he came off not as a friendly outsider but someone pushing their own interest and threatening GB. The "back of the queue" statement was a tone deaf gaff which did hurt the Bremainers.
