Nice. On the one hand, I can hardly wait for Houston vs. OU - should be a great game! On the other hand, it almost makes the rest of the season seem anticlimactic.

No love for Tulsa by this Tampa outlet.

That's true but does it really belong in this list. It's clearly the writers way of low-key calling the upset. Which is fine (everyone has the right to their own opinion), but if all you wanted to do was pick a game Houston could lose, why not UH vs. Cincy or UH vs. Louisville? Both of those games from a preseason perspective seem like better games.

Lou Holtzth once said, and I agree, win and the next game becomes more critical than the last. If UH starts off beating OU, then each game after gets bigger. Can't afford a slip because you put a potential playoff spot in play. I don't believe for one minute the committee would let Houston in, but that will be the conversation the rest of the regular season. The onus is also on the rest of the conference as well to hold up their end in non conference games.

I think 4 of those 10 games shouldn't be on the list.

RE: AAC Preview: 10 must-see games
--cincy memphis..(brewing rivalry and one of the most exciting games last year)

--houston lousville (this will decide the playoffs or get houston in the access depending on what happens with oklahoma, on primetime as the lone game on thursday end of the season)

---ecu vt (can ecu upset vt again)

-- navy airforce (huge mwc & aac pride, when its uncertain who should be the favorite, huge rivalry)

id put all of those over half the games he listed

Houston at Navy on Oct 8. Navy is 18-2 at home over the past several years. It could be for the division.

Wow, Temple with 3 out of the 10, including vs USF. Only a Florida paper though would say "chilly" in Philadelphia for October 21. Better pack your Bulls sweaters and mittens!
