I think we have to be happy that we are not signing just anybody to fill out the the roster and use these last two scholarships. We are aiming high and are only going to sign the caliber of player we really want. That's a good thing.

They are visiting during a signing period. They can sign anytime or anywhere. It is not illegal

4 year transfers don't sign NLIs, they sign financial agreements. Therefore they aren't binding.

Never heard John Doe signed a financial agreement with ODU. I could be wrong but please tell me more.

Only 2 year transfers and incoming freshmen sign NLIs. When a signee signs his NLI he also signs the scholarship paperwork (aka a financial agreement). 4 year transfers do not sign NLIs, therefore the only thing they sign is scholarship paperwork

The transfer market is going to be delayed this year with the new draft rules. Lots of time left.

Are you really serious? If so I couldn't be laughing harder. My point was that my hunch was they will commit before they leave Norfolk. Whatever rules they need to adhere to per your instruction I'm sure they will follow.

You can always tell when it's the off season!

There is a difference between something being against the law and something against the NCAA rules. The NCAA is powerful, but they can't send anyone to jail.

Anyway, I hope the twins' visit goes well. Their additions would really set us up nicely for the '17-'18 season.

But really, it would be pretty nice for the twins to let us know they'd like to play at ODU. That would be some good news that our people need.
