I passed out early too and just got up.

Screw the bacon & eggs & coffee, I’m cooking a steak with hash browns and drinking some good wine!

I was offline for 6 hours, tasting some new whiskey with my friend.
Came home around midnight and got back to this unbelievably glorious news.

I just wasn't sure if that stuff was hallucinogenic or not at that point...but I figured it was still a win/win situation.

If it turned out not to be true in the morning, I would just go buy enough Angel's Envy
to last forevah.

Might do that anyway. 04-cheers good stuff. lol

I love the Georgia Tech hire. Most of the league has older coaches, Josh will outwork em. Gets to build his own way,not follow Cal.

If Pastner wins the ACC will our "experts" admit that he can coach? I'll bet not. Doesn't matter - the negativity here reached critical mass and the point of being irreversible.

I sure will. I don't anticipate that will happen, though.

Hey, he'll get to face Austin Nichols next year!

If he wins the ACC it will be because he either hired an assistant to coach his offense or became a radically different coach. He never displayed the ability to coach well during his time here.

I am sure he would have said the same if OSU hired Pastner instead of Underwood...

He couldn't win the AAC, but he's going to win the ACC?

But I can deal with this if the total meltdown I expect to happen does and the AD from MOFO Xavier who has no business running a popsicle stand much less a football P5 athletic program can be sent packing.

If "experienced AD" is the goal, I've often wondered about the wisdom of hiring at AD at a school without football. One could argue that they have NO real experience.

In your wildest dreams, do you actually think Pastner can lead?

Yeah, bottom line, he wasn't getting it done here. He needed a change himself. I think we can all agree if he does become highly successful, it just never was going to happen here.
