Well that's great because truth is, I could care less whether I have the respect of some cornball behind a username on a message board. AND THATS A FACT not a rumor.

There are certain people on here who I feel like I can trust their information. They have proven to have certain information that often is correct. As much as all the wondering makes me crazy, I can understand the need to not divulge everything for these people and I appreciate just being able to know that SOMETHING is coming. I have had a couple of private conversations with coaches and gotten a tidbit or two that I have had to keep to myself for a bit, so I get it. I'll take whatever information someone feels comfortable to share and be happy I can have that much.

I don't know why people get up in arms about this stuff, and demand a source and all of that. Far more often than not, the info that is shared here is true. If you want to be skeptical, fine, but history does not dictate that everything said here should be considered suspect.

Also, serious question, why do some people get angry about rumors being shared? I mean what does it hurt? At least we have something to talk about during a slow time of year.

I appreciate the tidbits of information about GOOD news, especially when it is in reference to ODU Athletics. I even rejoice when I hear general information about the school, faculty, students and any achievement(s) about Old Dominion. Bring it on, the more the better!

I have never felt angry, betrayed or have been harmed by others insights when they share with us information on the board. The information may be from an inside source or just rumor, regardless, I actually appreciate and often get excited about the potential GOOD news. If it turns out it had no teeth and it falls through, that is the nature of a message board. Ultimately, isn't that the purpose of a message board and how it disseminates information. Have I personally been disappointed.... maybe, but there are far greater disappointments we have all faced than information about our beloved University from a message board.

Take the information for what it is. I look forward to good news and hope the information is even better than our greatest expectations.

I don't know if they necessarily lose credibility. it doesn't surprise me at all that there are folks who have the ear of some people on the inside and they hear things all the time. that they don't want to give full disclosure is fine with me. I'd rather have a juicy rumor than hear nothing at all.

There are rumors and then there are "I have a source". Two people on this thread have continually claimed this to be true. Fact is on April 13th we will know if it's true or not.

G Jalen Hudson from Virginia Tech is transferring. Has some size for a SG at 6'5" and has also shown the ability to score with games of 23 (twice), 27, 28 and 32 in his two years at Tech. He is from Richmond.
