Out of curiosity... Is your source a coach or someone that is connected to the program (not a booster)?

Keep it up? He/she isn't giving any info at all other than the typical "trust me, we have someone good on the radar but I can't tell." What kind of information is actually being given? I mean we all know what positions we are after for the last two spots.

There are certain people on here who I feel like I can trust their information. They have proven to have certain information that often is correct. As much as all the wondering makes me crazy, I can understand the need to not divulge everything for these people and I appreciate just being able to know that SOMETHING is coming. I have had a couple of private conversations with coaches and gotten a tidbit or two that I have had to keep to myself for a bit, so I get it. I'll take whatever information someone feels comfortable to share and be happy I can have that much.

Don't we always have someone good on the radar? If we don't, our coaches REALLY suck at recruiting. They should have a number of good players on their radar at all times. Doesn't mean we'll land them, though. I feel like absolutely anyone could throw out a "Trust me, we're after someone good" line and be accurate--with or without any knowledge of ODU's recruiting efforts. I don't really care what the "in the know" people claim to know until they actually give specifics. There are too many blowhards on here who pretend to have inside info just because they heard from a friend of a friend of someone who knows a player/coach.

Lighten up folks. There is a marked difference between "we're after someone good" (well I would hope so) and "The undisclosed kid I'm hearing about that has committed" and "we should hear good news soon".

If there is good news coming, feel free to let us know all that you can.

Well just looked and signing day is the 13th. Either this unbelievable SG is going to sign or we have a couple people whose credibility will be crushed.

I don't know if they necessarily lose credibility. it doesn't surprise me at all that there are folks who have the ear of some people on the inside and they hear things all the time. that they don't want to give full disclosure is fine with me. I'd rather have a juicy rumor than hear nothing at all.

Depending on how far "inside" these rumors originate from. A coach cannot comment on a commitment until he is signed. But perhaps something may have been leaked, overheard, etc.
