I agree. Next year was supposed to be the season we dominate. We have been ahead of schedule.

some folks need to get their emotions off their sleeves.

RE: Thomas Smallwood sums it up
Some could say we underachieved. Looking back on that schedule, talent-wise there isn't a game we shouldve lost besides last night. Biggest thing we cleaned up was not losing to the bottom dwellers and finally playing well in some empty arenas. We may have a guard transfer with what's coming in this fall. We have one legit scorer in the paint and only one legit defender in the paint and not enough length at the guard positions to defend the three. Defense, "back to the basket", close shots ought to be the biggest emphasis' this fall. Heck of a team we have. With that said, had one good game this season at MTSU.

Can't wait to see what we get from Smallwood and Lavender.

Of course some say we underachieved. Hell, some are saying it was a waste of a season. Some are more interested in trashing the team and the coach than supporting them.

Waste of a season? No.
Great season - unrewarded? Yes.

This season meant a lot to those coaches and players. Dang sure, meant a lot to me too.

I'd like to see some 1-3-1 defense with William Lee at the top. MTSU plays a little with Upshaw. Just a different look if we go with bigger lineup next season.

Our two incoming freshman have solid length at the guard spot. Not sure what kind of PT they'll see next year, but both are 6'4".
