well... NIT bound
with a 26-6 record.
Sad.
Don't want to hear about the refs. We got outrebounded by 21 or more, missed open shots and Norton couldn't throw it in ocean.
It happens.

It happens every year in one bid leagues. Gawdy record and one bad game puts you in the NIT.

You all are set to have another great season next year with only one graduating starter. I hope your non-conference schedule is a little heavier next year. You need to be dancing.

Congrats! Good luck rest of the way.
WKU and UAB is becoming a great rivalry.

It won't be UAB vs. Bama in the NIT. Bama would refuse the NIT bid before it would play us again. They've said as much.

First off, congrats to WKU, I knew that if we had to play them again we would be in trouble, but now I look forward towards watching games in Bartow again. There is a possibility for a second round match up against Bama. That would be fantastic for the state.

Didn't know that. If we play them and beat them they will be trying to shut down our basketball program next. I wouldn't be surprised if Bama is given a higher seed than us; you know they did almost finish .500 in the mighty SEC.

Thats what I think. Im predicting a 3 seed and Bama will be a 2 seed (because of their RPI) and we get them in the second round in Coleman Coliseum. Haase will get a shot at a Bartow moment

25 win Tech got a 3 seed last year. I'm thinking 3 or 4.

Correction. Tech had an RPI of 45. UTEP had an RPI in the lows 70s (like ours). They were a 6 seed. We will be fortunate to get a home game.

So you think maybe an 8?

That's news to me. Interesting.

The NCAA began requiring acceptance of bids with the 2006 tournament after purchasing it to settle an anti trust lawsuit

Most NIT prediction sites have Bama as a 5 or 6 seed.

We will likely be 0-1 in the nit as well. We haven't played anybody of substance all year long, and lost to all of our lower tier big conference teams on the road or at a neutral site
