Unbelievable that a young man, a football player dies during conditioning activities...

Very sad. Condolences to the UB community.

Is there any reason why this tends to happen in football practices more than other sports? I mean, it's not like other sports do not have conditioning drills...

Perhaps it's something to do with just being physically bigger people. Regardless, always sorry to hear news like this.

College basketball practices are noted for having garbage pails at the end of courts. Won't say more, it's my lunch time...
