Remind me who else in the conference has won a national championship in men's basketball?

RE: Basketball 2016 Recruiting Classes
Something that is now almost just as if not more important than incoming HS/JUCO recruiting classes are 5th year transfers.

UCONN, Memphis, and other AAC teams (and virtually teams in all top conferences too) have and will continue to target 5th year recruits that can come in and play right away as many (not all) of these players can have an immediate big impact in just 1 year.

Add in scores of other transfers (that have to redshirt, i.e. 40% of all signees now transfer during their career...a % that will probably only go higher in the coming years), it seems more and more coaches are going for the immediate/quick fix vs solely relying on HS recruits and developing them over time. (many coaches try to do that but some coaches have had a lot of players transfer out of their programs, i.e. Memphis, USF and others).

Not recent, sure. Doesn't make it any less real. Least we have a couple.

It's called tradition.

So you're saying, the ranking of prominence in this fantasy conference of yours would go:

UCONN
Cincy
Wyoming

Everyone Else.

Laughable.
I think the Big 12 should add San Francisco. They have the same # of 'ships as Cincy and a better media market.

Laughable.

I would say all we need is UC, UCONN, and Wyoming. All sports. We play each other round robin 6 times a year. Probably be included as a P6 at that point.

We have a championship. It's just as relevant as 1961 at this point.
