Oh, great! Back to our slow start ways. So far Shoshi has been a one-man show for us.

Worst I've ever seen this team play. We look like Ned in the first reader. Defense is terrible. Wide open shots for them, and they are hitting them. We can't hardly hit the rim. I don't know how many shots we taken tonight that didn't hit the rim, or barely hit the rim.

We are a much better ball club than what we're looking like in the first half. We might be able to pull it out, if we can start hitting some shots and get some ribbies. They looked a little shaky when we turned the press on. Defense is going to have to play Little Rock defense if we do win it.

What gets into the heads of kids, anyway? If you can do it in the second half, why not in the first?

A little breathing room. Pedal to the metal, Trojans.

These guys are a resilient bunch. At halftime of a game like this one is when the coach earns his dough.

Tied the record! Huge, huge win for the Trojans.

Game ball by far to Lis Shoshi. 11 points and SIXTEEN rebounds, 7 of them offensive. Throw in a block and an assist.

That must have been one good motivational speech.

What a difference a half makes. They pretty much did all these things right that they did wrong in the first half. And they played much better defense, and State cooled off some too. We're still missing to many free throws. Great coaching job by Beard too. Great job in the second half Trojans. We aren't great but we're damn good. Great will to win no doubt comes from their coach. Coach Flanigan said that Coach Beard had a "come to Jesus meeting" at the half. Would like to have been a fly on the wall in the locker room. Do you think that there might have been something in that halftime talk that he might have picked up from Bobby Knight?

I expect the situation was explained in very plain English.

Green is getting his minutes. It appears they are coming from Osse, Hill and Stetson.
