Curious how big a crowd and seating? I assume they can get say 4K in the lower bowl standing and seated.

Will they take up the upper bowl tarp and use it (the upper bowl).

If elected eventually he'll run out of other people's money.

Guys, can we refrain from partisan politics. Discussing politics on a sports forum not a good thing.

Normally, '79 makes this statement, but I'll get it out early.

There is a time and place for every subject and opinion, but politics, religion, etc. are best left to other boards.

This is also just about the only forum to discuss doins at EMU. I find the post appropriate, but maybe not a lengthy on the actual candy-dates.

Guys, we are trying to keep politics, both sides, off the board. EMU79 essentially tries to do that. We haven't heard from him today so I'm posting what I think he normally posts.

I have NO problems treating it as a new event, but leaving it at that.

There are other forums on this site for politics, smack, etc.

Just talked to the ticket office they already have over 10,000 rsvps the doors will not open until 12:30 per fbi.

Reason we should be pumped about this that it gives our athletic program a big boast. Much as it did when Clinton and jfk came here.

I agree with this statement.

I agree that visits from any presidential candidates, POTUS, Pope, etc. etc are good for EMU.

They would showcase the Convo and EMU.

That is why it's on the athletics board. As far as politics goes yes by all means keep politics off this board.

Put whatever label you want on it, I mentioned neither. Bottom line, life is neither free nor fair. The more your favorite politician tries to create such a mythical utopia, the more we're all screwed. Grow a pair and realize neither Bernie or Trump or Hillary or superman himself is going to save you. Go to work, do the right thing, help your fellow man if you've got a few extra bucks.

Seems quite a stretch that any politician showing up at EMU somehow helps EMU athletics?

Number 35 for kent shouldn't even be in the game he's throwing elbows like crazy and refs aren't calling it.

Second POTUS candidate to be at EMU this season, correct? Wasn't Ben Carson at the Convo not too long ago?
