Yeah. Darn auto check. I am from Pennsylvania, so Quakers come first.
Quakers have much more common sense than these poor freeloaders.
Not during the French and Indian War. They left the Pennsylvanian frontier burn because they were pacifists. They didn't want to send guns and ammo to help out.
Why didn't they ask questions these kids would know the answer to like whats the best way to get your stick wet? Can you make a grav? What's the best way to get around having to read for class?

It's not really an argument. He just asked why they're voting for them.....and naturally he received sheepish, retarded answers from these losers.
This - he just asks them pretty simple questions that you would hope (I know, I know) someone that is going to vote would have at least a clue of........................and we wonder why we get the government we deserve.
I'll bet they all know what the Kardashians are up to.
And of course - here, we have Max defending the ignorant.
You're an idiot if you don't think this could be easily done to an NRA meeting or some other place with full grown dumb rednecks. I could ask what the unemployment rate is and get blank stares. I could ask them to define socialism and communism. Ask where Obama was born. It's too ******* easy. This guy here was literally picking on college freshmen (and probably heavily edited the video). He's a creep and a douche.

Hell, Sanders supporters can't even define socialism or communism. All they know how to do is lame ass attempts at euphemisms: "He's not socialist, he's a democratic socialist!"

Disagree with a liberal, and the personal attacks come flying. How tolerant and loving.

I spent a weekend in Chambersburg a long time ago. Beautiful area. Lots of Amish, which I think are practically the same thing. Also, I could only buy as much beer as I could carry.

No I'm calling him a creep because he said something creepy here and I've seen him hit on college students in the past.

My mother grew up in Chambersburg. Fine area. The Amish are much different from Quakers. Quakers interact with our society. The Amish only interact when it comes to commercial transactions.

Did the tolerant Max Power just use a generalization about rednecks? Tsk tsk. They are going to take away your SJW card.

Of his 5 insults, he definitely only addressed 1. Tsk tsk, indeed. It's almost like his "liberal, loving, tolerant" persona is only an act that he pushes/shames onto others to get what he wants, i.e. their money.

They pushed the kid age up to 26. Don't you remember?

So when a candidate list Obama or Sanders build their support from kids 18-23 it's because the get the future. When you challenge these same kids it's unfair..
At least these 18 year olds are smart enough to realize the deck is stacked against them. That kids in Germany, Norway and across Europe get free college, and kids in America used to get free college, or at least much cheaper than today, and that it's a crime people can refinance their mortgage for 3% and Wall Street banks can borrow at 0.25% but students get charged 8%. They ARE getting screwed, and the dumb ones are those voting against their own interests.
Look, all sides have their less than articulate supporters. If you think every Trump supporter is a Rhodes scholar you should have joined me when I door knocked in Iowa. I ran into plenty of them. Many of those people struggled to form complete sentences. Some told me they were between Trump and Bernie because both were against "the government." I kid you not. I heard all manner of ridiculous crap from right wingers.
The video was lame anyway. Someone called Bernie a "congressman" and Watters said he was a senator. Okay, it's true that generally only House members are referred to as "congressman", but both are still members of Congress, so it's not even factually inaccurate. That was one of his best zingers? And who knows how many people he talked to. And how many kids had good arguments after a couple of seconds before he cut them off.

As has discussed on this board ad nauseam, interest rates are based on a risk profile that includes expected defaults. Right now default rates on student loans exceed 10%. Furthermore, if you default on a home loan (currently around a 5% rate), the bank has the recourse of foreclosing and selling the home to recover their loan. What is the recourse when an ex-student defaults on their loan they took out for their Woman & Gender Studies degree?
What banks borrow at is totally irrelevant to this discussion.
These are exactly the real world exigencies that these "kids" seem not to understand.
