If Tech plays like it did against FAU or ODU anything could happen

RE: 1-28-16 CUSA mbb
USM's biggest issue is lack of consistency for 40 minutes. In most of our losses this year we've had a stretch where we go 4-7 minutes without scoring a point. Most recently against La Tech we had closed a 14 or so point gap to 3 points with about 10:30 left in teh game then we miss our next 8 shots and don't score for a little over 6 minutes give or take. That 3 point deficit turned back into double digits by the time we score again with around 4 minutes left and at that point the game was all but over. I will give credit though to La Tech (as well as the other teams) in that defense can and will create these scoreless droughts.....It's not like we are missing lay ups and free throws.

UAB played pick a number versus them. We chose 104-82. They have since beat UTEP though.

Our program has so many big issues that I could write a thesis on it.

Charlotte at FIU should be a good game tonight, both teams with 2 straight W's coming into this one.

FIU lost to us though, which makes them not a serious team.

Hattiesburg, but that is irrelevant. We lost to an NAIA team at our place. By double digits.

The game was at FIU (I was there) and we played like a hot mess and USM had one guy score like 1/2 there points; very disappointing that we didn't work harder trying to make someone else beat us.

I was really surprised when I saw we went to TX and won the last two.

Don't be absurd. There's no shame in that whatsoever (cough, cough).

I think Charlotte sweeps FIU and FAU. The team's shooting, ball movement, and communications is light years away from where they started the season. That being said, anything can happen on the road in college basketball.

Check out my CUSA Week 5 Predictions

http://tinyurl.com/gmexdg4

There are a couple of intriguing match ups outside of the top tier games. Charlotte @ FIU will feature the two most dominant centers in CUSA. UTEP @ La Tech will be fun to watch as well.
