Sounds like JUCO WR Ronnie Turner had a "great" visit to UC recently and is visiting Miss St this weekend. Colorado also involved, maybe others - not sure where we stand with him.

It's one of the craziest recruiting stories I have ever seen. Last summer this kid was not rated. We gave him an offer and is evaluated as a low two star. (In fact he was out lowest ranked recruit). The season passes and he remains a two star. Starting a month ago he starts getting offers from school like Pitt, Maryland and Rutgers among others. This past week Clemson, Michigan State and OSU. Talking about blowing up!

Now a 3 Star.

HC, DC, and Recruitment Coordinator. That's a bit much for a three-star...goddamnit, another one. Love doing all the work only to have another college reap the benefits.

yeah...i feel the same. Everyone likes to out cynical the next about how our class/ recruits are lesser than, but somehow major schools keep calling on them.

Me thinks our coaches know how to recruit diamonds in the rough and the key is just getting to the finish line before others get hip.

He's visiting Purdue and East Carolina. I suppose Purdue technically qualifies as P5.

Looking realize Wallace is gone with OSU and Clemson etc but if a guy wants to look at Purdue or ECU, it's too bad UC isn't in position to tell them thank you for your interest in UC but good luck with whichever one of those you end up choosing.

Look if you feel the need to be a schoolgirl and feel courted don't commit. These boys don't understand what a commitment is. I'd rather go with the young men who get what commitment means. Those types will always be better teammates and guys you want in battle.

They all went to p5s? Too bad we didn't have a better year to hold onto Recruits...i see parchment is crystal balled to northern illnois, and someone else went to Iowa st who I guess technically is a p5. Neither of those two I would call a diamond in the rough.
