Tears came in with the highest recruiting ranking NIU has ever seen Buirge has great speed and lee is like 230 as a freshman

Mitchell will be rs jr it would be his time you would think. i think your right lee is gone but Tears and Burge will be very good together in the future I think i looked at the film they look like playmakers time will tell

Mitchell had an ACL tear last year. Came in with a lot of promise. Hopefully he can comeback and contribute.

yes he is scheduled to visit this weekend, just strange he would take down his commitment status unless he had de-comitted and is opening it back up. we'll see what happens. hopefully its not -5 degrees this weekend w 50 mph winds in dekalb haha

Somebody makes a clear cut claim like "won the most games over the past decade", " most MAC wins in the last decade", or "6 straight wins over the Rockets" I don't have a problem with. Claiming MAC's best team over the past decade when another team has the same #of MACC's as you do and they lead the series vs the Huskies during the same time period, not so clear cut.

I have heard Kevin Kane is trying to bring in some kids from Mo. I think we offered Darion Hutchins a BG commit. There is still some pretty good uncommitted kids from Mo. Hopefully Mike U. is trying to sway some kids he recruited for NC St. that are still out there. We do not have a lot of slots left, so we really need a couple of studs. Here's hoping!

Hutchins is no longer a BG commit and I think he is planning an official to NIU this weekend. He has offers from about 10 FCS schools and Ball State in addition to BG and is from the same school as Sutton Smith. I think Kane recruited Smith before leaving to Kansas so I'm guessing he is familiar with Hutchins. Seems like NIU would be a good landing place for him if an offer is out.
