Nichols left for a very weird reason. Nothing to do with coach, NBA, Memphis, team. Pastner knew nothing about Nichol's leaving, because it had nothing to do with coach, team, playing time, NBA mock draft, nothing. He's not playing here anymore, move on.

Why would a player sit out a year to leave a program where they were the number one option on offense and everything went through them? To go to a program (that admittedly fits their style of play) that is 800 miles away and where under the new team it is unlikely that the entire offense will go through them.

Even if I hate the coach, the said coach was giving me a touch every other time down the floor, I wouldn't care.

Explain it to someone who has an above average IQ can understand it.

For whatever reason, Dedric and Shaq seem to playing better together than Nichols and Shaq did last year. Could be Tarrant is a better PG than anything we put on the floor last year. I also like Shaq on the block with Dedric at the high post better than having Shag in the high post.

We haven't had a point guard as good as Tarrant in a long time.
