So what if any ramifications come about due to the move by the Rams? What happens with the dome? Will they try to get more college football games, or does the number of games they have totally dry up now?

For St. Louis probably not much. That new stadium in Los Angeles I'm sure will be on the College Football National Championship Game radar, potential for a bowl game, PAC-12 Championship Game, etc.

Not sure that USC can stay in the Coliseum much longer. The track around it is a definite drawback.

You forgot Super Bowl, although slightly technically that could fall under "bowl" game.

As for St. Louis, they may get run for Illinois-Missouri games and that's about it.

If not for the Tournament of Roses connection to Pasadena and the tradition, it'd be fair to wonder if the Rose Bowl itself would move there.

Yeah, that was my first thought but I am pretty sure they aren't ready to throw all of their tradition out the door just yet.

It means that Pro football fans in Missouri will be looking for a team. It could lead to better ticket sales for Mizzou as football fans look for a place to spend their dollars. If I was Mizzou. I would play one or two games a year in St. Louis.

Don't see the Rose Bowl leaving Pasadena...but do see a new Bowl Game in the Los Angeles NFL Complex...also can see the Pac 12 moving it title game there as well.

Sucks for the folks in St. Louis . Not sure after the Ferguson situation if any owner moves a team there for a long time to come.

Nothing happens to affect college FB. The SL Rams facility is a dump compared to other NFL venues today. Why make it a bowl destination is beyond ludicrous. Most likely the city repurposes the land for higher value usage. Virtually all stadium deals are terrible deals for cities. Even if the stadium gets extra games, all it will do is sit dormant the remaining 99 percent of the time.

Agree. I did not mean to imply it would happen right away, the new stadium won't be ready until 2019 afterall.

But once this current contract is over, I believe the Rose Bowl will no longer be a part of the CFP semi-finals.

It's a win for Mizzou. Now that Muzzou is in the SEC they have an opportunity to be like fellow SEC schools Bama, Auburn, Arky, Ole Miss, SC, Miss St: No NFL in your state is a great thing for your College football flagship. No denying that. Cheers!

The track was removed in 1993. USC has just begun a 99 year lease. They will do a $270,000,000 renovation.

Really? You think that a fairly minor disturbance compared race riots is LA, Cleveland, etc. to had any to do with this? No team will move to St. Louis because no teams are going to move.
