Everytime I read something about that kid it is great. I think we got a real player in Evans. Gonna be a whole new team next year. No Freeman and Bacote but Evans,Stith and Caver outside. Porter, Kah,Stith inside. And throw in a more experienced Talley. Not looking too bad. Plus, we have another slot available with Moseley now gone to fill, if the coaches decide to do that. That should be interesting to see what happens as well.

Was the Pervier scholarship already accounted for?

Maybe we go the grad-transfer route for Moseley's scholly. Would keep us on track for the 2017 scholarship plans (where his scholarship would have been open anyway). Get a guard grad-transfer to help bolster an inexperienced but talented wing?

He was a 1 year kid.

In a holiday tournament Xavier Green had 17 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal against Norfolk Collegiate

I have heard from a very good talent eval that his basketball IQ is through the roof. Said he could score 30 whenever he wants to but chooses to get his teammates involved.

6'6" high-IQ point guard... There's a spot on any roster for that profile.

Anyone know why he sat behind Jeremy Sheppard on Team Loaded? He barely played in the games that I watched.

I like this scenario. We have Caver, Stith, Haynes, and Baker next year. We could redshirt Green and let Evans play behind Caver and bring in the grad transfer.

We should absolutely be looking at a grad transfer.

So far freeman and arledge have both worked out well.

I know they weren't "grad transfers" but they both came from other schools and have had big impacts at odu.

Would love to see us pick up a cagey vet next year to really fill the team completely out.

Arledge was most definitely a grad-transfer.

Good question. He's not a super standout. Just goes about his business quietly and then all of a sudden you look up and he has 20 points, 10 rebs, 5 assists. That is what I have heard. Don't know if that hurts him in the AAU circuit.

Jordan Shepherd committed to JMU. Jeremy Sheppard (the one we recruited from Team Loaded) is going to UCF.
