Why would all of those coaches leaving be a bad thing? You more than then most want the whole thing blown up. Now, not so much?

How can Bohn continue to keep this charade going? If anything he needs to come out with a press conference to explain his position. The barbarians are at the gates right now. Let's burn this b#tch down and start off fresh.

Again, the recruiting hasn't been anything worth a darn anyway. It's just time to reboot. Now's as good a time as any.

I don't know why I have this feeling that Bohn is hiding out in his basement office trying to size up the pros and cons of making a decision. Seems pretty simple to me but then again I'm not getting paid the big bucks to sit in the AD chair.

Some of those guys are the only things working (literally and figuratively)in this regime. The head of this fish is rotten.

Who gives a sh*t? How many games did that win us? How many TDs did that put on the board?

Amen! This just saves CTT the job of firing him, which should have happened after his first year. He may have been a good recruiter, but that didn't offset his ineptitude as an OC.

Hopefully, CTT can get a much better replacement.

Was never at all impressed with Gran. He inherited an absolutely loaded offensive roster and what did he really do with it? The offense clearly was lacking in discipline and fundamentals. I didn't like his run scheme at all either and I thought he managed the RB's very poorly. I dont see how him leaving is really hurting recruiting either as this class is absolutely terrible as it stands right now. UC just needs to move on from this entire staff ASAP.

Bohns lack of doing anything is the complete opposite of the colorado circus. At least mike thomas could run akron and hire search firms to find football coaches. starting to think bohn could **** up a one car parade.

i hope he isnt spending all his time getting nippert ready for cincinati fc.

Can someone wake mike bohn up? what is going on down in clifton? these guys leaving better be us having a replacement for tubs lined up.

the damage that will be done going into this season with tubs will be incredible.

i guess on the bright side stoops will be gone from uk in two years and we can get some of the low end ohio recruits back he has been taking.

remember tubs is building a foundation for the future.

Tubbs just got his excuse dujure to spoonfeed to the media next year.

Rip the bandaid off now and pay the buyout next week. Find someone new. He's lost this team and this recruiting class is a hot mess anyways. There are no reasons to retain this guy another year.

Agreed. A new guy will simply bring his staff with him, as well as some recruits. The new staff will be getting a nice pay bump to come here.

Letting Tubs bring in a new offensive staff just buys him another 2-3 years at the minimum, not to mention I don't know how well the new staff could recruit in that situation this year and the next one out.

And potentially whomever you bring in will have had his hand in multiple recruits from where ever he's coming from. Or does this only work one way?

Sure. We can hire a guy from the Sunbelt or MAC and then make contact with who they have been talking to.

Agreed. Cast off the anchor now. Do it Bohn. Make your case to start a new era in UC football.

RE: Gran to UK per Rivals
Media is reporting this as official now.

http://www.cincinnati.com/story/sports/c.../78011946/

Per the article on Cincinnati.com, Tuberville is interviewing several candidates to replace Gran and Hinshaw this week. They are phone interviews, so it sounds like it will be external candidates. Unless we hear something from Bohn soon, I would say they are letting him interview because they know he'll be around next year. I guess we'll also find out how committed UC is to winning based on who we're able to bring in (and how much we're willing to pay an assistant).

So sad - we'll never compete with the big boys until we get paid like one. UK isn't even a lateral move as far as football success is concerned - just a ton more pay probably.

The SEC is like NFL lite for coaches. Most would jump at bad jobs to get a chance to coach in that league.

I guess Gran is anxious to see his offense curb stomped by SEC defenses.
