I've been saying it for 15 years this is not something new.we were horrendous during the boone years and not much better during Ramsey's years.

Crazy, Murphy played just a seven man rotation: Lee and Price the only reserves. This is a marked change up from Murphy's prior years. Wondering if this is dictated by the roster or if this is representing a coaching strategy shift. I am guessing a little of both.

I think it's completely roster dictated. Can't imagine he actually wants Thompson playing the whole game, but luckily the big fella is well-conditioned because we don't have a reliable back up.

I still wouldn't mind seeing more minutes for Alvano, Nobles, and Perry. They don't look THAT lost out there. Playing 7 guys will be bad news in the heart of MAC play.

There are a couple schools of thought on this:

Coppin came off of a 2-game West Coast trip (games Friday and Saturday). Flew back on Sunday. I thought they'd be dogged tired. No so.

We should have been fresh, but maybe rusty???? Off NINE days.

People can come up with post hoc explanations, but who knows...

Athletes will say "I felt like s*it" and then gone out and had a great game. Or a player had the flu, running a bad fever, gets out of bed and has a good game.

Go figure!! There just isn't any good way to make these predictions. As Yogi said, "It's hard to make predictions about the future."
