I went to see the BGSU-Wright State game today. WSU won easily 83-49. I would never have thought this game would be so lop sided. Then again WSU does the to teams defensively on their home court. BG was down only by the score of 37-29 at HT. Billy Donlan teaches his kids to play defense and take pride in it. If you don't play defense, you sit. He doesn't care if it is his leading scorer. His recruits are for the most part winners in the class room. Opportunistic 3 point scorers as well. Donlon's guys completely shut down the 2 top scorers in Spencer Parker and Zack Denny. I think Zack was held to 9 points for the night and no RBs. He had good contingent of fans from his home town of Germantown, Ohio less then 30 miles away at the game. Perhaps the kid put too much pressure on himself to excel in front of his family. BGSU was coming off a layover of 7 days of not playing since losing to the Titans of Detroit perhaps had something to do with the poor performance. The Falcons were out rebound by the smaller raiders.

Wright State was my favorite team playing today!
