He's a slightly taller, more athletic version of Austin Nichols. Gets pushed around in the paint. Will need to pack on at least 20 lbs before he even thinks about sniffing the NBA.

I think I'm past the point of thinking players go where they "want to play". I think Skal went to the school that funded whatever bs nonprofit his "guardian" wanted funded.

If we were willing to pay off Hamilton then Skal would be here today. Skal has a loooong way to go before he is NBA ready. Twice with in a few seconds he made he same stupid move and had the ball stolen. Tried to back down and dribble into a triple team in the lane.

FWIW, I'd take Skal today over any player on our roster. He'll get it going & when he does...watch out. Takes time...the kid hasnt played basketball in like 2 years haha.

I might agree with you if we were starting a team for the next 3 years.

But for this year, I don't think I would. He is really weak. Gets bounced right out of the post anytime anybody bumps him. Also seems lost mentally.

He needs to develop physically, no doubt. He skills wise, he is head and shoulders better than anyone of our players. Even Dedric.
