Any good places for App fans to go for food and such?

I had a Christmas concert the night before the game, so I didn't make the pep rally/parade and other events they might have had. I'm sure they were fun, although it was rainy that night. The town is kind of a dump. The hotel I was in was a dump. Please don't skimp on hotel price or you'll regret it. The stadium was cramped. But I would go back to watch USA any day.

Thanks. We got a hotel outside of town so hopefully it will be a good spot. Dont mind driving into town for festivities and the game.

We took a cab from our hotel outside of town down to the game and it was a great idea.
Getting a cab back after the game wasn't so easy.
But it was their first year having the bowl.
Maybe the cab companies are better prepared this year.

Yes, but those losses to Texas State and Georgia State (and they way they were lost sting). And if we end the year on 3 terrible blowouts it will look really bad.

At some point, the lack of depth can no longer be blamed on the newness of the program.

I'm giving him a pass this year. As I think most people would. Next year, he'll need to step it up a bit. And just like this year, our schedule does us no favors.

I think Montgomery has Uber... a much better (IMO) choice than a taxi cab if they do have it.

I don't know about the accuracy of this site but it says they have both Lyft and Uber in Montgomery right now: http://uphail.com/us/al

Those red X's mean they don't have it. Look at the green check for Mobile for comparison. You can go to Uber's website as well and Mobile is the only Alabama city listed.

Especially the yellow pants with the yellow jerseys! Words can't describe that uniform.

Just a heads up to the App fans coming down or watching on ESPN3... Don't be surprised if this is our all-time low crowd. A lot of people have seen the way we've lost several games this year in blowout fashion and are choosing to not come to this game.

A bigger reason for the predicted low turnout is the SEC Championship game featuring Alabama that will end right before the USA game begins.

thanks for the heads up, I think its understandable to expect a small crowd, with App coming back to Alabama for the bowl game, I don't think many App fans will make this game.

I will be at this game, will begin the tailgate process at LPS around 1 pm. Kudos to USA for allowing us to tailgate so early. Special thanks to southjag09 for the LPS lot pass as well.
