Trust me, not one of us want to go through that.

2 wins in three seasons...sort of like getting a colonoscopy with a forklift, and your ex-wife at the controls.
Gonna dispirit any fan base, no matter how loyal, large/small, or vocal.

Judging by the two schools listed on your "I root for" I'm guessing you're as "dispirited" as they come. Georgia State is the best college football program you follow. Yikes.

We'd only survive as a fanbase because we likely would have fired 3 coaches during that period, so each season would have brought some optimism. :)

I understand that, but that is like saying, "I know what you are going through. It isn't that bad," to someone who just had their house hit by an EF5 tornado when your place got hit by an EF0 10 years ago.
EF0 Damage
EF5 Damage
It just doesn't compare.
You make a good point. Things are worse in Atl.
But to be fair, a tornado hitting your fan base/program would look more like this:
Because there would have had to have been something there to begin with to get damaged for it to be what you posted!
And with that in mind, it might have been worse for us - since you can't tare down a house that hasn't been built yet. But one good thing that may have come out of our debacle was that hopefully we have learned that we should NEVER go away from some form of the Option again!
I suppose it's like the man explaining the difference between Major and Minor surgery.
If they are cutting on somebody else, it is Minor Surgery. If they are cutting on me, it's MAJOR surgery! :)

Question of the week, Ga State fans:
So... Has ANYONE in the Panther camp said they're going to attend yet? I feel like Hans Blix trying to nail down where Saddam is hiding the WMDs! Deflection, dodging, subject changes... ANYTHING you can think of except answering the damn question.

Is there something wrong with the English classes at GaSt? Is that the only word they have time to teach students?
Personally, I couldn't care less if any Panther fans show up. I'd probably prefer it that way since I'm sure Sunday will find this thread full of likely-fabricated stories of the heckling/abuse/waterboarding that GaSt fans had to endure in Statesboro.
Maybe you Panthers would be better served by just staying at home and coming up with LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE TO SAY to Eagle fans. You should have plenty of free time to do so since it's not like you'll need to prepare for a bowl game.

You really think we need validation from Georgia Southern fans on our whether or not we support our team?

You may not want to come and that's fine but I can tell you this....................that little town is much cleaner than the streets your beloved college is on. Talk about not wanting to go somewhere!
