RE: OT: The Walking Dead [Warning: Spoilers]
That might've been the worst episode of the season... Maybe my expectations were too high.

RE: OT: The Walking Dead [Warning: Spoilers]
This episode blew so much. It's the first Walking Dead episode I've watched where I was really like WTF is this crap? It just feels like they are trying to drag everything out and fill up seasons. Should've gave us a cliff hanger reason to be excited about the show coming back on in February. If they want to make me happy, let a zombie eat the stupid whiny kid with the chili bowl hair cut. I'm tired of seeing him whine and be a big vag every episode.

I was sure he was going to get bit in that last scene.

Episode was average at best. Lotta feelings happening considering you are surrounded by zombies.
My favorite part is when Morgan Rock-bottomed Carol. Someone needs to dub Jim Ross on top of their fight.

RE: OT: The Walking Dead [Warning: Spoilers]
The episode was kinda meh but the first episode back will be huge. For comic readers this entire episode was a giant tease and I think that may be worse than a cliffhanger. First we see Rick with his hatchet from the comics. Carl and the other kid fight and tease at Carl getting shot. Then they load up on walker guts and walk through the house. Little kid is scared and starts to talk, drawing the attention of the walkers. The bonus clip during Into the Badlands not much happened but was a giant tease of Negan. We will see him and Lucille make their sweet sweet entrance during the season finale. Spoilers............ Seeing the hatchet I definitely thought they were going to have the little kid get eaten and the mom wouldn't let go of him or Carl. Rick was going to chop of the moms hand and the other son was going to shoot at Rick, missing and hitting Carl in the eye. They teased all of that to happen and it would have been an awesome cliffhanger to end on.

The little prologue that played during the first commercial break of Into the Badlands was much better.

I look at it in the same light...
I don't need a punch me in the face feel from every weekly show. I thought 5 to 6 minutes of it was a waste but I'm fairly certain it will be tied into the story once it comes back on.

He didn't have her when he arrived downstairs. Who did he leave her with. Everyone else was dealing with the zombies.
They didn't show who he left her with, but he did take her when he left the room.

I now have doubts that Negan will kill Morgan. After Morgan's bleeding heart all life is precious BS that put many people at risk and may have signed Dr. Cloyd's death warrant, I think everyone wants him to meet Lucille. I'd be surprised if the writers give us that satisfaction. IF Negan doesn't kill him Carol might, my guess is now Daryl as most likely killed by Negan.

RE: OT: The Walking Dead [Warning: Spoilers]
I agree that the mid-season finale should have been better... but it was not a bad episode at all. It sets up for a big second-half debut (if you know the stroy line you know what I mean).
However, I think that this episode should have wrapped up this part of the storyline. They could have done this with a 90-minute episode or they could have merged some of the previous episodes and made this one a two-parter with the conclusion coming last night.
It really does not matter. The next episode is going to be brutal and I agree with some that Daryl's time is drawing to a close. I don't have any special knowledge but his death would make for one that's harsh enough to fit a character like Negan.
I did like the prologue shown during the first commercial break of ITB. Really pumped about Jeffrey Dean Morgan's "Negan" and what this character will be like without all of the profanity LOL.

My guess is that at this point, with the growth in popularity of the show, that the network is more interested in keeping a ratings draw (Daryl) than pandering to the core comic book crowd. Given that with most things you have to just follow the money (ratings) my guess is that a core, but secondary, character is on the wrong end of Negan. My guess is Abraham, setting up another loss for Sasha.

I guess that could be the case but if they do go in the direction that they should go, I don't think that they will lose any fans. Many would just watch to see what happens to Negan. On that note, I would love to get more of a backstory on what made Negan, "Negan" if that makes any sense.
My impression thus far is that the Saviors are a motorcycle gang. Negan is likely their head honcho and as long as they are kept happy, he gets to keep his position as leader intact.
Here would be a nice twist:
The lone remaining Wolve makes it out (somehow) with Denise in tow. Negan comes across them both and kills the Wolf (stating that he's tired of them killing all of his slaves, so-to-speak) and then gives Denise back to the group immediately after he's done whacking someone over the head.
