Imagine if we could get that Boise continuity.

Total Insanity....How does WMU get a decent coach once Fleck leaves unless the money continues to rival P5S this is not sustainable for the the long haul.

Imagine if they fork over 1.5 mill a year. Fleck will be around for quite some time.

The top candidate for that job is Les Miles. Saban is rumored to return to LSU to return them to glory and word on the street is that Fleck would be a top choice for Bama m.

Interesting to see if this has legs. UM was only 45 when he took time off for health reasons.
IMO -Rumor credibility fades at Saban returning to LSU

He must have had some offers out there if this is really in play.

A rising tide raises all boats. WMU may be setting the stage for escalating coaching salaries across the MAC. Per news reports Toledo was prepared to top PJ's contract with Campbell, in an attempt to persuade him to stay. BGSU and NIU may be thinking in a similar vein. From there it would be trickle down economics for the other MAC schools.

How's that for using political buzz phrases?

I personally think it's good for the MAC if they can fork over money and keep their coaches

Well done. Where do you fit in fiscal prudence and fiduciary responsibility?

Why does it seem like this was planted out there, kinda like Campbell's people were manipulating the media yesterday. You can't keep giving PJ raises and nothing additional for the staff. Can u imagine if PJ was to get paid 10 x what his coordinators get paid. Bad idea

What I want to know is why they're humping the bushes for my donations when they're obviously already flush with cash?

It does seem very calculated. If they're that afraid of losing him they'd have cut the deal now in the office and not leaked it, from the Athletic Departments side anyway.
