And he's doing okay things at Colorado right now, which is in a tough spot like San Jose (relatively speaking).

I don't hate Cal, I dislike him intensely. I don't feel the same at all about Fuente.

It is what it is.

I'm kind of over the whole Cal thing. It was seven years ago. I got more recent stuff on my mind.

I doubt I'll ever feel warm and fuzzy about Cal. Some will hate him still, some will still love him. I'm sort of indifferent currently. Each fan is entitled to feel about him however they like, obviously.

I strongly assume time will heal wounds and he will be loved here in retirement. The good memories usually outlive the bad ones.

If we could win more in hoops, the past would stay the past. That would be my preference.

I will always remember the snow cone machine. Oh, and taking our nets and basketballs. Oh, and cleaning out Lansky's with his clothing budget on the last weekend.

I think the vast majority think cal is a slimeball. Not just tiger fans either. There is enough anecdotal and documented (eg. actually articles etc) stories to support this. I'm not going to search for those either bc I already know it to be true. If people don't think cal was slimeball then that is their opinion (which is fine) but if they research then they will find otherwise. Cal, a very good overall coach but not a good person. IMO.

Fuente to date has always handled himself very professionally and has done a great job. I guess there is still time to screw it up though. :-)

If the Tigers have lost the last three games, because they know the coaching staff is leaving, would that classify as screwing it up? It sounds to me like the cat is out of the bag. Saturday is going to be a tough game to watch.
