RE: OT: The Walking Dead
Maybe they can do the eenie meenie part facing Negan without showing who he's pointing to during it then cut the scene right as he cocks back to land the first blow. I can't imagine the impact of a cliffhanger like that, I'd scream

This way we still get the eenie meenie part and the ultimate cliffhanger. While that would be awesome and would have everyone talking/ speculating about who gets Lucilled for several months, it would also be torture.

Perhaps Darrel since he was never supposed to exist anyway and would likely give them more trouble than anyone but Rick?

RE: OT: The Walking Dead [Warning: Spoilers]
Glenn's death was one of the best/worst deaths of the comics in my opinion. If they change up who it is that receives that death I'm not sure it will have quite the same impact. Daryl's my guess though if they change it. I won't be surprised however if it is Morgan due to his character arch.

Watch. I'll be completely wrong and they'll end up killing off Abraham in this way.

The problem with this show is that it has become all about who dies. Seriously, find an endgame to this series. I get it, zombies eat living humans which subsequently causes death.

It seems like some people are obsessed with certain people having to die. Someone told me at work that if Glenn doesn't get the bat they will quit watching. I told him good quit watching. I'll be tuned in.

The real problem I have with TWD TV show is they make the characters do dumb out of character things to advance the plot. Poor writing.

RE: OT: The Walking Dead [Warning: Spoilers]
I'm almost always wrong regarding my TWD predictions, but here goes:

(1) Glenn survived the dumpster scene, most likely because it was Nicholas who was getting munched on. We'll find out that shortly before he is bitten, either Jesus (a new character) or Enid distracts some of the walkers and he's able to get on top of one of the buildings somehow... likely because someone helps him, either from on top or inside of the building. We'll find this out during the next episode.

(2) The next episode will also show us who was calling for help; we'll find out that the walls have failed and that walkers are pouring in. The group survives but Carl's eye is shot out. Spencer and Jessie's son are killed. Denise is inured by accident but survives.

(3) The finale will be about the group going to The Hilltop Community alongside Jesus, who has promised to help them get the injured treated with his group's medical supplies. On the way back, they encounter some of Negan's men, who are angry about the herd they moved away from Alexandria, as some of the Saviors were killed. A fight ensues and more of Negan's men are killed. The episode ends with Carl being bandaged up and the other's being treated, as a Savior calls from the front gates and introduces himself. It'll be Wade and he'll make them an offer.

The rest of the season will be about the burgeoning relationship between these communities (and others). In the finale, we'll see Rick, Daryl, Carol and Jesus making their way back to the Hilltop to offer support in their predicament with the Saviors. They'll be trapped by the Saviors and Negan will make his debut. "Ennie meenie miny moe" will end up on Daryl and he will get his brains bashed in by Lucille. His death scene will take up a full 15 minutes and it will make the opening scene of last year's run look like a Disney movie.

All this is very possible, another possibility is Abraham meeting his end courtesy of Lucille as revenge for his killing of a couple of the Savior members in last week's episode. I read the guy who took Daryl's crossbow is one of the Saviors.

RE: OT: The Walking Dead [Warning: Spoilers]
I think the problem that some are having is that they are "the book was better than the movie" types. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but they feel slighted because they are suppose to know what happens next already and they get mad, or feel like the product has been cheapened, when something else happens.

If you really think about it, it's probably good for those folks that the show differs from the comics, at least it should keep it interesting. I'm glad I never read the comics.

Of course he lives, for now. The wall coming down is setting up for a major mid season finale. Sensing a couple of our main group may bite the dust, Morgan especially, and Carl losing an eye. They have set it up perfectly with the kid getting the bullets from the armory. Also when Rick was teaching him about the gun Carl wouldn't shut up and I think it was pissing the other kid off. Jessie's family may be toast after the next episode and it will be awesome. I like her character but that whole scene from the comic needs to make it to the screen.

I've graded out as Rick the last 3 episodes. Believe I was Maggie before that. Not sure what that was telling me.

Mark tonight as the night this stupid show jumped the shark. TV critic Alan Sepinwall said it best.

Also, an 18 wheeler crashes into the fence and it doesn't budge, but a building of rotten wood falls on it and it folds like paper.
