Unless my counting is wrong, as of the first weekend the MAC is an impressing 11 - 3, with only a few games against non-D-I opponents.

Miami's 11/22 game will be difficult.
Ken Pom's pre-season rankings had Northeastern ranked #108 ahead of all but 2 of the MAC teams.

Ohio plays either at 5:00pm or 7:30pm on Saturday as part of the Paradise Jam. Their opponent will either be Indiana State or Norfolk State. They will then play on Monday against either Florida State, South Carolina, DePaul or Hofstra. I'm guessing you left it off because the opponents are still up in the air.

MAC goes 3-1 to increase season record to 14-4 I believe. Ohio played poorly much of the night but Freshman Jordan Dartis and Gavin Block play huge down the stretch and the Bobcats pull it out.

Akron is fortunate they don't have to return the game. Hiram Bingham's home court, Machu Picchu at Cusco, wears down the opponent with its 11,000-foot elevation.

MAC moves to 14-4 on the year with losses on the road to Xavier, DePaul, Bradley and Old Dominion. Missed opportunity for some quality road wins but so far no "bad" losses for the conference.

Do we have to count Akron's win? That was a total joke. It couldve been a 100-plus point win if the Zips wanted.
Akron really got nothing out of this game, and it will probably end up being detrimental as freshman guard Jimond Ivey got hurt and I'm guessing will now be questionable against Arkansas, and maybe Villanova.

MAC wins all 3 on Tuesday, moves to 6-1 on the week, 17-4 on the year.

Five, I think.
In terms of RPI, the MAC is 12-4, and has the 3nd worst SOS so far.

This should be a good channel flipping night, though I doubt I stay with the CMU@KSU football game very long with all these hoops matchups.
Watching our football team not score hasn't proved to be all that interesting.

For EMU fans (and those MAC fans who are 'closet' EMU fans... ), tonight's game will be televised locally in the Detroit area and will also be on ESPN's college sports pack which can be seen on DirecTV (Channel 789).
Occasionally MAC (FB and hoops) games get picked up by that ESPN package. So it is worth checking for those who have DirecTV.
