Hello everyone! Long time college football fan. My son is a senior in high school and will be attending Northern Illinois next fall. Diehard Notre Dame football fan but also have been following the Huskies football team last three years and have become a fan. I will probably be on campus a lot the next four years and of course attending many football games with my son!

I've been following the Dog Pound for awhile and finally decided to join. I've been a Huskies fan ever since I was a kid as I grew up in Dixon, IL. I live and work in the DC area so the Dog Pound is a great source of information on the Huskies. My wife (also an NIU alum) and I try to attend at least one home game and one away game every year. We have had some great times meeting Huskie fans over the years in locations all over the country.

the BC game then is quite convenient

I'm definitely considering it. We went to the UMass game two years ago and had a really good time. Boston is a great city.

I am an alumni of NIU from the 1987. I followed the Huskies and even had season tickets for several years, but, during the last 20 years, I have lived in the Pacific Northwest. It is too expensive to come to a home game, but I have seen the Huskies in Idaho and Vegas since I have moved out here. I also saw a few baseball games and soccer games at Oregon State when NIU traveled out here.

Anyway, I found this sight from Hustle Belt and decided to join to talk NIU football among other things. I hope things turn around for NIUs Offense this year, they are looking pretty shabby.

I have followed the Dog Pound for several years now. I am a 1995 graduate and former swimmer for NIU (when they had a team). I have had football season tickets for 9 years and make it to most home games and every year plan a road trip to an away game. I have been a NIU football fan through the bad years and now the great success. I enjoy college athletics because I understand the demands of the student-athlete and the dedication they have to have. Huskie fans are great, wherever I travel if I have NIU gear on, I always hear a Go Huskies.

What's happening gentlemen and ladies? Graduated from NIU in 2003. Still bleed Red and Black. Been creeping on this blog for a while now. Figured , why not get in on the fun. Big Huslkie fan. 2016 should be the year of the Huskie!
