I can't speak for the liberals but I have no fear of Rubio for two reasons.

1. He's a minority and therefore will not get enough support from the republican base.

2. In a general election, democrats would run that pathetic gaff video of him drinking water on a constant loop.

In that same general election, republicans will run that video of saying "what difference does it make" regarding the death of 4 people in the Benghazi attacks. Constantly...she won't win because of it.

I'm so triggered right now that I'm going to get morbidly obese, steal some hipster glasses from somewhere, and proceed to go gender-exploring.

YOU SHITLORDS BROUGHT THIS UPON ME.

It makes a lot of difference. You have to remember that the vast majority of Americans vote on perception. Showing how clueless and nervous Rubio looked on that video will give lots of people the perception he isn't ready for prime time.

Rubio clearly doesn't like being a Senator. He's quitting anyway if he doesn't get the nomination, so does it matter in the end?

This was my thought as well.

He is not running for reelection, so why are people demanding he resign?

He is already leaving the senate after the election either way.

He'd be better off resigning because then someone could hand pick who replaces him. Otherwise, there has to be another election NO?

All the time the left tells us republicans need to be more like democrats to win... Well Rubio is doing what Obama / Hillary did in 2008

Most of the votes and debates on the floor of the seante are meaningless and a waste of taxpayer doller all the way around.

I certainly understand skipping out on a lot of the BS, but it leaves you open for this type of attack. And the attack, whether fair or not, is factual in and of itself.

Rubio is also taking some heat over his personal finances for not being successful enough and actually having foreclosures and so forth. I find these attacks a bit puzzling too, because everyone is always screaming that only the uber rich can be POTUS.

And here is a guy who, through a combination of common financial mistakes and generally not filling his pockets in the typical way Senators do, is much closer to middle class than most of the big names in Washington.

Yet now the charge is he has foreclosures and student loan issues, so thus he would be incapable of serving over an economy as POTUS.

So we are back to requiring an uber rich man because only he can understand and run an economy.

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/06/10/us/pol....html?_r=0

Its just one series of another of bad financial decisions. He just "couldn't resist." Do we want someone like that in charge of a trillion $ budget? He put out bad info on his finances just a couple of weeks ago. His campaign finance has been mishandled (NYT article is just about the personal stuff). Its just basic stuff he can't seem to do right.

Well Obama's been steering that ship for 7 years now, so this will just be more of the same.

I'm getting an irrational hatred vibe from you regarding Rubio.

He's an incompetent sucking the airtime from qualified candidates and helping to elect Hillary. If you are helping to put Hillary in the White House and claim to be a conservative (Ross Perot?) you deserve all the scorn you can get.

I find his narcissism that makes him think he's qualified annoying (just as I do with Obama and Cruz and Paul, but at least those three strike me as intelligent). Maybe there's more to him than he showed, but he seems really shallow.

Hate to tell you, but 2nd in the polls is a Black, 3rd is Hispanic, 4th is Hispanic, 5th is married to a Hispanic and 6th is a woman. But then I know liberals don't let facts get in their way.

Stupid and pointless. The OS called out Rubio, the commentators brought it up, he crushed it. Libs are mad because they got called out on their hypocrisy.
