Unless Tigers make a deeper run in the NCAA. .

No, the drop in attendance coincides with Pastner being a terrible coach.

Knockout punch

Not saying it's not true, just not giving up on BB just like you guys didn't give up on FB.

The people not renewing haven't given up on basketball. They want a change and will be back when it's made. It's how business works. And at 2.7 mil a year it is BUSINESS

Those people are not fans. They are customers.

And if they are boycotting to get rid of Pastner, then they are only hurting the program they purport to support. One cannot save the village by destroying it.

I couldn't disagree more. Those 56K that didn't show up at the Liberty Bowl that Tuesday night got the ball rolling for what we have now with Fuente.

Agree to disagree 04-cheers

And for selfish reasons, it took me years to get the best seats I can afford. 1st row in the nosebleed. I am not giving those up even if I don't go to the games.

JF had to climb out of a crater and it made his job much more difficult and perhaps delayed better results in his first two seasons (he had only 7 wins total in case you forgot). Lack of fan support stymies needed facilities, makes us less attractive to P-5 conferences, and inhibits media coverage.

Customers may spend their money as they see fit, but no one should pretend they are a good fan by starving the program.

Laughable. Absolutely laughable.
You be a fan your way and others will be fans there own way. We all bleed Tiger blue and some of us are graduates, ex-athletes, have kids there and have kids who have graduated this fine university. It's sickening what has happened and what is happening to this once proud basketball program.
The faster Pastner is gone, the better. It is what it is at the moment and that is pathetic.

You said waiting list. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The ticket office is calling those that didn't renew asking them to come back. I assure you, there is no waiting list.

I imagine when the program cycles up again and demand increases that current ticket holders will have more "priority points" than new buyers. Personally, I am going to more closely explore my options next season and see if I can improve my seat postiton.

This was the year to move down. Lots of folks down there didn't come back. The seats didn't get any cheaper however.
