Democrat Debate Thread
My entire purpose in watching is to track the number of times they say something so crushingly stupid economically it makes them unelectable to me, and worse than the pretty stinky Republicans.

To get you ready, here's some Democrat Cocktails

RE: Democrat Debate Thread
The only reason I'd tune in to this shitshow is to see how liberal Bernie Sanders forces all the other candidates to be. His baseless rhetoric is going to move the bar farther and farther left.

"I'm going to make THIS, THIS, and THIS FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Oh yeah, well my plan makes ALL OF THESE FREE"

"Oh well my vision is to make life FREE"

RE: Democrat Debate Thread
I will say this... Every time I've heard a pundit ask him to contrast himself with Hillary, or he points out an area where he differs with her, Bernie answers by pointing out how he differs with the 'generic' Republican straw man, which means he can pick ANY of the candidates and be 'different'.

RE: Democrat Debate Thread
This isn't going to be a debate (not that any of them are in the truest sense).

It's already been stated by the clintoon news network that this is essentially being set up to be a meet and greet of the "serious candidates" from the democrat party and democratic socialists/marxists.

So, I'll do what I have done now for around 30 years, listen to it on radio first, a lot easier to actually listen to the answers and their real substance or likely lack thereof, and then watch it later for all the visual distractions. The eye rolling, the jabs, barbs, canned one-liners and pre-focus grouped gotcha catch phrases- "What difference does it make?".

If nothing else, it promises to be a BOON to the MLB playoff games, productivity increases for employers tomorrow after a well rested populace dozes off at 8:45, and probably a mini baby-boomlet 9 months from now as sets all over the Country outside of the DeeCee/ NYC/Boston corridor and the left coast turn off simultaneously.

Didn't look at the debate cocktail thing, but I'm thinking about a beer shot every time one of them mentions "free" or "your right to" someone elses stuff, or "denying wymens' access to health care".

Figger I'll be out myself by 9.

Bernie's actually going to get hit from the left. He's been supported by the gun lobby.

RE: Democrat Debate Thread
Just saw that the WSJ totaled all of Sanders' proposals, and it equates to $18 trillion in new spending.

LOL

LOL

A right wing writer for a far right wing newspaper wrote an opinion article attacking a political opponent.

By the way, the partisan hack at the WSJ claimed to use information from Sanders' health care plan. Which Sanders hasn't released.

The Murdoch 'reporter' is a partisan hack.

This shouldn't be considered a debate. There is little difference in opinion on any issue throughout the Democratic Party.
