Yes, the worst. It's a poorly designed logo. It's not great for a baseball team, either, though it fits in with "traditional" baseball logos (most of which are poorly designed).

GaSo has a great uniform tradition. Why the hell they'd change that, even for one game, for that awful logo is beyond me.

I suspect it's either an attempt at selling hats or a bid for attention and a way to supposedly create a 'buzz,' and/or a way to get recruits fired up, or all of that rolled into one.

It is a one game alternate helmet. The baseball logo has been around a long time and also represents a sport for Southern that has a lot of winning tradition.

Out of curiosity(not trolling)... when did that GS logo start?

Baseball team was founded in 1933. No idea when that logo was created but my father recognizes it from the 70's when he went to GS. All I know is it's s helluva lot older than the football logo.

At least there is some kind of logo, plain white helmets with a navy blue jersey screams Penn State. Nothing much wrong with that, not really.

The young recruits and future students like to see a different look. It gets the players energized as well knowing that they will only get one shot in the spotlight with this uniform.

No definitely. The blue would be updated to the current blue.

I've always hated white helmets, but the logo isn't the worst thing I've ever seen. It's neat, simple -- obviously a throw back. Better than the GSs logos that incorporate that cartoonish eagle, in my opinion.

I'm relating my opinion, in a thread full of opinions. I'm not "freaking". It's an awful logo that could have been designed by an 11 year old. By all means, put it on everything you wear.

Yeah they quickly grew on me, this is my favorite alt we have done thus far

Supposedly we're going to wear the white helmets for App next week.

I think we are done. All the one's Stan decribed (and that was not ALL of them) were under Levick. I think we are staying with Panther Heard on white helmets. This is the first season I have liked our uniforms since 2012.
