It would be better if they came in ranked as highly as possible I guess. But I'm just not sure I can physically hope Ole Miss wins a ballgame. Plus Florida (in the East) winning would hurt UT more.

PS. Don't forget Cincy plays Miami tonight!

yes, for me it's as simple as the tv hype for undefeateds (if we take care of our business).

Yeah, we do. Them being as good as possible is in our best interest. Same as BGSU winning the MAC, and Kansas pulling a couple of upsets. In the system we are forced to play in, what our opponents do, matters.

Missouri is pretty bad this year. They are 119 out of 128 teams in total offense and that's against SEMO, Arkansas State, UConn and Kentucky. Florida has a terrible quarterback but they do have some playmakers.

Yes, we want to beat OM and have them win the SEC. Then we can beat them again in the playoffs.

We absolutely want OM to win vs UF and NMSU. In fact, I want them to roll them.

We'll need all the help we can get on 10/17...with 5 straight SECW games after us, I want them sky-high and looking ahead.

Not to mention, any hopes of Gameday (which are already slim and none to begin with) go away completely if they're not undefeated.

If Michigan and Michigan State win out, that is where Gameday will be without question.

We do want them to beat Florida and come in ranked as highly as possible an undefeated. You always want all your non conference teams you play to win the most games as they can so it will make you look better whether you win or lose. Only reason why you would not root for a non conference opponent to win is if they were in you're recruiting area or if you just hate them to no end. I know Ole Miss meets that criteria to a lot of fans, but I think the circumstance is different with this particular game given that Ole Miss is so high profile right now that it would put more eyes on us from a national perspective. We should want Ole Miss to beat Florida.

I think it's in Memphis's best interest for OM to win that game. Hopefully the tigers don't overlook the cows and take care of business and Indiana and Maryland pull the upsets (Purdue ain't winning at Michigan State).

It would be great to see Gameday on Beale. And frankly, I'd bet they'd rather be there than, like, East Lansing.
