Was just about to post this! Wilbon was very complimentary.

PTI has always loved NIU, even when we got screwed out of a bowl when we beat Alabama and Maryland. Like those guys.

Call me petty but I can't forgive him for calling our team a joke for making the Orange Bowl. Took away from a great moment for our players.

While I appreciate his word, (it does indeed make me happy that he noticed us), why didn't he put any votes on us for his AP ballot? Waiting for us to prove ourselves against BC perhaps?

NIU has been able to beat ranked and B1G teams for many years. To have a great game at the #1 team in the Nation is new territory.
Never thought that NIU could hang in with a top team for 4 Q.
This game was a huge improvement on the Orange Bowl performance.

Waddle on his radio show today was VERY complimentry to Huskies today. Said they have been under appreciated and under covered for a long time. They have a very good program out there. He also mention how vocal they are in complaining about the lack of coverage. Waddle is a fan. I believe he was in the the booth the nite we beat MD in 03'.
