I know many have had or have issues with Lance M but you have to give him credit for doing this and devoting some time to UC football. It's a big improvement from previous years.

Agreed. Especially with the projected uptick in OSU coverage it's good to see a new commitment to the local team. Hopefully there's more to come this fall, especially after Mo takes over on a daily basis in October.

I'm excited for the coverage and hope this becomes more regular. Honestly we probably need guys to call in or send him messages afterwards thanking him for the coverage. If he doesn't hear much, he will just assume that listeners don't want UC coverage.

I know people will grumble after seeing this, but it can't hurt! Call, tweet, email; just do something to express your interest in hearing more dedicated UC coverage. Same thing with Mo or any other host who puts UC content on the air.

Weird knock-off? I don't know if APBA is/was Lance's game or not, but if it is, then you need a history lesson on baseball board games young man. APBA first went on sale in 1951 while S-O-M didn't begin as a company until 1961. Of course APBA itself was derived from the game National Pastime, invented and patented by Clifford Van Beek in 1925, but I disgress on two counts.

Anyway, thanks to BJ for the heads up on the UC segment - I'm going to try to listen to it (I think he has everything available on podcasts later on btw for those who can't listen live.)

For out-of-towners 1530 is on iHeart Radio too. That's how we have to listen to a majority of radio shows or coverage. Better than nuthin'.
