Rank your team's schedule.
Rank your team's schedule from toughest to easiest game.
Here's what I think for Georgia Southern taking into account where the game is played and when in the season it will be.
1. @ Georgia
2. @ App St
3. @ WVU
4. @ ULM
5. W. Michigan
6. Texas St
7. USA
8. @ Idaho
9. @ Troy
10. NMSU
11. GSU
12. Citadel

RE: Rank your team's schedule.
1. @ Georgia - We'll be BIG underdogs
2. @ WVU - We'll be sizable underdogs and we are without our starting QB
3. @ App St - Toss up
4. W. Michigan - Another toss up (no Kevin Ellison)
5. @ ULM - Tough... Decent team on the road
6. Texas St - One of the better teams in the Belt
7. @ Troy - On the road against a pass happy offense
8. @ Idaho - That's a looooong flight
9. NMSU - Gave us a fight last year
10. USA - Wildcard... don't know what kind of team they will be
11. GSU - if you can't say anything nice....
12. Citadel - This would be a back breaker loss

RE: Rank your team's schedule.
1. @ Clemson - would be considered huge upset
2. Georgia Southern - rivalry and toss-up
3t. Arkansas St - toss-up
3t. Louisiana - toss-up
5t. @ USA - lost at home last year, however with personnel losses we should be favored
5t. @ ODU - lost their all everything QB, history of porous defense
5t. @ ULM - tough defense and an exciting game last year
8. Troy - improving but not there yet
9. Wyoming - they travel a long way, rebuilding, but like Troy they're not there yet
10. @ Idaho - Travel does concern me but we have a little extra time with the Thursday night game the week before.
11. @ Georgia State - should be a fun game for our App grads living in the Atlanta area.
12. Howard - Should see our 2nd team get some work.

RE: Rank your team's schedule.
1: @ USC-despite sark's antics, this is going to be a very long trip with a very late kick off against a historically prominent program
2: mizzo-even though this will more likely be the largest crowd watch a game it's a centennial bank stadium history I make no qualms that there will probably be a ton of Missouri fans and despite the criticism being back to back S EC East champions they will prove to be a formidable challenge even at home
3: @ toledo: The Rockets are a very talented squad furthermore they have only lost I believe four or five games at home in the last five seasons one of those being to Missouri and then nationally ranked Cincinnati team
4. @ App state: never mind the fact that the mountaineers have one like 80 something percent of their home games never mind the fact of how remote Boone North Carolina is and never mind of win this game is going to be played; this will be the red wolves first trip to Appalachian State and the unknown factor alone has me wary of this game on top of everything else
5 @ south Al: I have got to believe that the coaching staff will have our team fully prepared and focused on the Cajuns...which is why I am further worried about this game this game screams trap game and despite the comfortability that the Redwolf have with mobile there is no doubt the Jags are desperately seeking their first win against us and on national TV no less
6 La La: The Cajuns have won 5 out of the last 7 against astate, with 2 of those 3 victories occurring in Jonesboro. The Cajuns are a confident bunch and playing road spoiler on weeknight tv is a role they certainly enjoy to play
7: @ ULM: on the flip side, the pack has been very successful against the Warhawks, winning seven of the last nine matchup against ULM. To add to that misery head coach Todd Berry still has not gotten a single win against Arkansas State during his tenure. I would ULM will have extra bit of go go juice for this home match up
8: Texas state: The bobcats certainly had their way against a wounded Redwolf squad last November and with this being the last game in December we could certainly see two very banged up squads going out it. Many thought that Texas State defense of Cordinator John Thompson was the key in beating the red wolves in San Marcos last season, with that aspect plus the possibility of this turning into a big game depending on how outside factors fault this certainly could turn into a doozy come December
9: @ New Mexico State: This is another game that screams trap game to me; with many young starters from last season returning this year, I expect the Aggies to be much improved. On top of that New Mexico State always seems to be a little bit more of a scrappier bunch at home
10: TIE Georgia St/idaho: to me there's not a significant difference between these two; they both have some talent at quarterback have shown snippets of bright moments but all in all have been not been very successful; both have to come to Jonesboro and sorry to say but Arkansas State should be the more talented team against both
11: Missouri state: The Bears should provide a nice little tuneup early in the season not to sound derogatory but I expect Arkansas State to show they are the better team if we can't win against Missouri State this is going to be a very long season

getting to Boone isn't has hard as you think, fly in to Charlotte, or Greensboro, with only about a two hour drive, mostly interstate and 4 lane highways, with all the expansion they have done on the roads to Boone in the last 10 years, its actually a very easy, and pleasant drive.

I personally feel that Toledo will win the MAC this year so they will be a tough team to visit.

I'm not going to even bother ranking ours. There hasn't been a team on the schedule that has me excited since... gosh, I think I'd have to go back to the mid-80's.
