Yes he is. ODU was his first offer so far.

A lot has been happening the last week or so . We have had several recruits (4) on campus. All guards. One of which I think I was told will be in this weekend. These are all unofficial visits to be followed up in Sept. with official visits when we play home football games. I would speculate that we will be hearing in the next month or so who commits and who decides to wait and see if there stock rises. Whoever we end up with I think will be early. Right now it looks promising.You never know but we are aiming high. Go MONARCHS!

One offer is set to announce tomorrow at 11am we are in the final three with Gardner Webb and Winthrop. Not sure if we are still on him honestly, he probably picks Gardner Webb.

Who knows if we really want the guy, but if we can't out recruit Winthrop and Gardner Webb we're in trouble. Glad to hear about the visits. Been quiet lately. Its time to get some verbals.

If we don't really want the guy then being able to out recruit those schools to land him would not be a good thing. I understand what you're saying about who you beat for recruits being an indicator of the strength of the program, but in this case I'm not concerned about it. I know you didn't say we are in trouble, but your post prompted me to look at where our bball program currently is.

I am pretty sure ODU will open the season fairly high up the list of others receiving votes in the bball poll. It has been a while since our bball program can say that. I feel we are in a position again where high caliber recruits want to be ODU Monarchs and we will see some great recruiting results soon. I believe that not only are we not in trouble, but that ODU Basketball is on the doorstep of something special.

Xavier Green? Nice potential, barely played for Loaded VA, reminds me very much of Donte Hill. More athleticism.

I'm thinking he's referencing Maliek White. He's visiting ODU, Cincinnati, Pitt, Providence

I really, really like Maliek White but he has officials to those other schools. Maybe he cancels those after this weekend.

I think that would make everybody very happy!!!!!!!!

Christian Turner committed to Gardner-Webb today with ODU and Winthrop is HIS final three.

We dodged a bullet here, IMO he was not good enough to play for us. My guess is we backed away but I have no idea.
