Can you cite or source any of this please?

It was all over the News when it was going down. It's out there. I'm getting ready to leave work but I know many were frustrated with the waiting and stalling tactics back then.

I'm sure it was...sorry if I don't just blindly trust your memory. What with your track record and all.

I think it's likely that some of the same people that produced chemical weapons for Saddam in the 1980s and 1990s are now with ISIS.
I think it's also close to a certainty that Syria did not get rid of all of the "Red Line" chemical weapons that Obama demanded that they get rid of.
I think it's unlikely that whatever chemical weapons that ISIS has were produced under Saddam 15 or more years ago. But some of the precursor chemicals might be, and the knowledge and equipment used to produce them might be.
The moral compass of the country is largely a product of Saddam, but it's notable that Saddam was also a product of a country with a very bad moral compass to begin with.

Sorry, but those would at least be more credible than his memory...being that we could both actually see them and ascertain their veracity.

Saddam once used weapons with a mustard agent in Iraq, therefore the mustard agent allegedly used by ISIS came from Iraqi WMD's moved to Syria.

Facts be damned!

We couldn't find the WMD but ISIS could.

You think ISIS made its own biological weapon?

Duh...no...they got them from Saddam's hidden stash that was moved to Syria. Didn't CardFan1 already tell you that?

Geez...slow learner. 03-wink

Well, in all seriousness, where do you think ISIS acquired the weapons? I'm thinking Assad never got rid of all the weapons and some wound up with ISIS.

This I agree with.

That is only because Heinz Mustard came out this year and they could not get an export license due to government bureaucracy.
